01 Introduction and Scope
This AI Data Protection Policy ("AI Policy") governs the collection, processing, storage, and use of user data within Colide — Shulker Hosting's proprietary AI assistant — and all underlying AI model providers that power Colide's capabilities. This AI Policy supplements the Shulker Hosting Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Copyright Policy.
By using Colide, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this AI Policy. Your continued use of Colide constitutes acceptance of all terms herein, including those related to third-party AI model providers.
02 What is Colide?
Colide is Shulker Hosting's in-house AI assistant, integrated natively into the Shulker platform. Colide is designed to assist Minecraft server administrators and developers with server configuration, plugin recommendations, troubleshooting, automated code generation, and intelligent server management. Colide is a composite AI product — built on Shulker's proprietary AI layer, enhanced by Google's Gemini 2.5 and Gemini 3 Flash models.

03 Data Collected When Using Colide
When you interact with Colide, the following categories of data may be collected and processed:

⚠️ Important: Shulker Hosting does not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) as part of Colide AI interactions. All data passed to AI model providers is anonymized prior to transmission.
04 AI Data Usage Setting — Your Control
Shulker Hosting provides a dedicated AI Data Usage for Model Improvements setting within your Account Settings (Account Settings → Colide AI → AI Data Usage for Model Improvements).

Your interactions may be used to improve Colide and underlying models.
The setting is enabled by default. Opting out does not affect Colide functionality. If disabled, your data will not be used for training within 72 hours.
05 Third-Party AI Model Providers
Colide is powered in part by Google's Gemini models. By using Colide, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the policies of these providers.
Google Gemini 2.5 & Gemini 3 Flash
Interactions routed through Google's API are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms. Shulker transmits only anonymized, minimal necessary data.
⚠️ Third-Party Acknowledgment: You confirm that you have read and agree to Google's applicable policies. Shulker is not responsible for changes to third-party policies.
06 How Colide Uses Your Data for AI Improvement
When Data Usage is enabled, your anonymized interaction data flows through this pipeline:

- Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2+ for all data transmission.
- Encryption at rest: AES-256 for stored interaction data.
- Access controls: Role-based access with full audit logging.
- Incident response: Breach notifications within 72 hours as required by GDPR/DPDPA.

09 Minors and Colide Usage
Colide is intended for users aged 18 or older (or minors with documented parental/guardian consent). Shulker does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a minor under 13 has used Colide, contact us immediately.
10 Changes to This AI Data Protection Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email and in-platform announcement at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of Colide after changes constitutes acceptance.
11 Governing Law
This AI Policy is governed by the laws of India (including IT Act, 2000 and DPDPA, 2023). EU users additionally benefit from GDPR rights. Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Haryana, India.
